ABM - NEW Summer Term Menu!

We are delighted to share that ABM Catering will be introducing a new menu for Summer 2, which will be in place from Monday 1st June, with exciting new dishes for the children to try! Please find a copy of the new menu below:

Summer Term 2 Menu

The menu continues to offer a 3 week rolling menu with a daily meat and vegetarian option. In addition, there will be an extra third option which will be a nut free pesto pasta on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday each week or a jacket potato option on the Tuesday and Thursday where children will be able to choose from topping choices of beans, cheese or tuna).

***

NEW FOR SUMMER TERM 2!

Following feedback from families, we are pleased to advise that we will be offering a sandwich option from the school kitchen for next half term.

These options will be:

- Ham roll

- Cheese roll

- Tuna mayonnaise roll

Children will be able to select a pudding and visit the salad bar to accompany their lunch.

Children will continue to choose in class on the day, so we would be grateful if you could please discuss this new addition with your child, ready for when we return after the half term holiday.

Children with a special diet in place will be catered for.

We hope that the new option will add even more variety to our growing menu.

***

The meal charge remains at £2.85 per day, so not only is the food great quality, it is fantastic value too!

Scopay Accounts - IMPORTANT

From September we will be moving bookings and payments for trips, Breakfast and After School clubs, Hordle Hub clubs and lunches from Scopay to Arbor.

In preparation for this, please can we ask parents to ensure that Scopay accounts are kept up to date with no excessive credits and that debts are promptly cleared over the next few weeks.

All accounts must have a zero balance at the end of the school day on the 22nd July.

If you have not already registered for access to the Arbor app it is essential that you are able to access this from September. Please email the school office if you require assistance with this.

We will be communicating with families on a regular basis to keep you well informed about the upcoming changes and advise you of any outstanding balances on current Scopay accounts.

Thank you for your consideration of this in the coming weeks as we head towards the end of the school year.

Breakfast Club, After School Club, Dinners and Trips Debt

Please can we ask that parents/guardians ensure that all payments for dinners and any Breakfast Club or Den bookings are paid in advance.

There should be no debts run up on your accounts, which should always be kept at zero or in credit.

Please be reminded that if debts exceed £10 on your child's account, we may have no option but to refuse bookings at Breakfast and After School clubs, or refuse to provide hot lunches, until accounts are settled.

Weekly emails are sent to advise of any outstanding balances but please can we remind parents that it is your responsibility to check your child's account and update payments accordingly.

***

As we head in to Summer 2, a large majority of our children will be attending a school trip. We kindly request all families to ensure these balances are paid, as per the outlined payment dates, prior to your child attending the trip.

***

If you are experiencing financial difficulty and wish to discuss a payment plan for any costs relating to school, please request a confidential meeting with Mrs Rook, School Business Manager.

Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Year R Class Charity Ocean-Themed Party - Friday 5th June

Our FS children are invited to come dressed in ocean colours, sea creature outfits or party clothes with an ocean twist on Friday 5th June, in aid of their chosen class charity, The Ocean Cleanup.

We will be taking part in fun games, activities and celebrations linked to our learning about the oceans and how we can help protect them.

We kindly ask for a donation of £2 per child, with all money raised going towards supporting the important work of The Ocean Cleanup in helping to remove plastic from our oceans and rivers.

Thank you for your support — we are looking forward to a fantastic day while helping to make a difference to our planet!

Hordle Hub Club, Peri Music and Booster Club End Dates

Hordle Hub / Peri Music Club

Hordle Hub Clubs will recommence from week commencing Monday 1st June and will be ending on Friday 10th July. If you require after school childcare after this time, Den sessions are now available to book and currently, still have availability.

***

Booster Clubs

Please be reminded that all Booster Clubs have now finished for the academic year, with the exception of Year 5 Maths Booster with Mrs Way. This booster club will be running up until Tuesday 7th July.

Bag2School Collection - Friday 5th June

Help our school raise funds by donating your unwanted, quality items!

Team PATCH have organised our next Bag2School collection for Friday 5th June.

Bags can be dropped off to the front school car park after school drop off from MIDDAY Thursday 4th June and no later than 9am on Friday 5th June.

Please ensure items are securely placed within a bag (and not overflowing - any bag can be used) and please place the bags under the provided tarpaulin to protect all clothing from the rain. This is extremely important as wet clothes will not be collected and unfortunately, we will be forced to dispose of them

As well as clothing, Bag2School also accepts items such as paired shoes, hats or bags. For a full list on what you are able to donate on this occasion, please click HERE.

Thank you, as always, for your ongoing support!
