Equality Questionnaire 2025/26

As a school we are constantly striving to do our best for all pupils and to support their parents/carers whenever possible. This includes our duty under the Equality Legislation.

To help us do better, we are consulting with all our families in an effort to identify those pupils who belong to particular religious, cultural or ethnic groups and may therefore require further adaptation to enable them to enjoy full access to school life.

Please click below to complete a short survey:

Equality Survey

We kindly ask for all repsonses to be submitted by Sunday 10th May.

Important Parent Reminders

Sports Field/Play Equipment

Please can we remind families that playing on the field and/or adventure play equipment before and after school is not permitted. For those whose children walk to/from school independently, please can you share this message.

***

No Dogs On Site

Please remember that dogs are not allowed on school grounds, which include the area in front of Wild gates, even when on a lead or carried. Please ensure all dogs are tied to designated hooks located at the front of the school (school drive). Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

***

Waiting Outside the Front of School

Please can we kindly ask families to kindly respect the front of the school grounds when waiting outside the gate.

We have received a number of complaints of children running around between families in the front of school and on the road, playing rough, as well as jumping/kicking the fences/walls. This is not the behaviour we expect to see of our children and they know that type of behaviour is not allowed in school.

Please may we also ask that children do not walk/play in the flower beds. This is a Health and Safety risk, as well as causing significant damage to the flowers/bushes.

***

Scooters / Bikes

Please can we kindly remind families that any bikes, scooters, skateboards or any other form of similar transport are not used/ridden on the school site.

All forms of transport should be dismounted before entering on to the school site and then walked up to the available bike storage (located at the Longfield Road entrance/Team Nest), where they are to be stored neatly and safely or parents should take them back home with them.

No scooters and/or bikes are to be left at the front of school and/or outside the school reception.

Thank you for your cooperation.

IMPORTANT NOTICE - SAT's Reminder - Monday 11th May - Thursday 14th May Inclusive

With SAT's week fast approaching, we wanted to remind our Y6 families that it is essential that your child is in school from Monday 11th May - Thursday 14th May inclusive, for their standardised tests.

In the event of illness, please contact the school as soon as possible so that we can work with you to find a solution.

Please ensure children are in school and make their way to Team Wilverley via the external blue door no later than 8:20am for the SAT's breakfast. For those who need to be dropped off at 8:00am, please head to the school hall as normal and a member of the team will walk you across to Team Wilverley for 8:20am. This is a great opportunity to calm nerves and start each day positively.

Good luck to all of our Y6 pupils! We know you will all do your very best.
