Staff News

We are delighted to announce that Miss Bungard, in Team Office is expecting a baby in the Autumn term. We know you will join us in congratulating Miss Bungard and her family on their impending arrival.

In readiness for Miss Bungard's maternity leave, we are now recruiting for a fixed term Receptionist and School Administrator to join our Office team from September 2026.

For full details of the role and application form, please visit the Vacancies page of our website.

Closing date for applications is Friday 8th May.

If you have any questions about the role please ask to speak to Mrs Rook, School Business Manager.

Water Bottles

We are getting an increasing number of children attending school without their  own water bottles. Please can we remind families that all children should be bringing in a named water bottle every day.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Cosy Day - Friday 1st May

On Friday 1st May the School Council is holding a 'Cosy Day'. Children are invited to come into school in their PJs or cosy clothes in exchange for a small monetary donation of their choice. Any donations are to be handed in to your Class Teacher.

All funds raised will go towards improving our school environment, including the creation of an outdoor library that can be enjoyed all year round, as well as the addition of an extra bin for our playground. We hope everyone will join in to support these fantastic initiatives and help make our school an even better place for all.

We kindly ask that parents/guardians please ensure clothing worn is suitable for school activities.

To apply or to request further information, please email adminoffice@hordle.hants.sch.uk, FAO Hannah Rook.
