Autumn Term 1 - Week Five - Friday 10th October 2025

Arbor App Update

Following our recent communications encouraging families to sign up to the Arbor App, we wish to inform you that we will now be sending all reminders/notifications via the Arbor App, as opposed to email.

Please can all parents/guardians check that they have their push notifications turned on to ensure they receive all relevant updates.

This will be in effect from Monday 13th October.

Should you have any problems or any questions, please speak to the school office.

School Uniform Expectation

Please make sure your child arrives ready for the school day dressed in the full school uniform. The only exception is if it is your children PE day or they attend a Hub Club, then they should then be wearing their Hordle PE kit. Full details on school uniform expectations can be found on our website HERE.

Please ensure all uniform is clearly labelled.

Lost Property

We have a high volume of lost property, a lot of which is unnamed. We have tried to reunite as many items as possible this week but please can we ask all families with any missing items to check the lost property bin outside the hall doors. Any remaining lost property at the end of half term will either be donated to charity or disposed of.

Thank you for your ongoing support with this.

Flu Immunisations Reminder - Monday 13th October

As per the recent communication, the School Nursing team will be attending school on the morning of Monday 13th October to deliver the flu nasal spray to all year groups where a completed consent form has been provided by parents. This is delivered free by the NHS.

The nursing team will be unable to offer the nasal spray vaccination if we have not received a completed form by this date. The form submissions are managed directly by the nursing team and therefore, we will be unable to advise if you have completed the form, so please do so at your earliest convenience to avoid any confusion. We strongly advise all children to receive their flu immunisations.

Thank you in advance.
