Summer Term 2 - Week Five - Friday 4th July 2025

Staff News

It is with great sadness that we announce that our lovely Mrs Sullivan in Team Office, will be retiring from her role at the end of this academic year.

We are very sad to see Mrs Sullivan leave but are very excited for her to embark upon her much deserved retirement.

We know she will be very missed by many families and hope that she will be popping back for regular visits!

Please join us in congratulating Mrs Sullivan on her retirement and wishing her a fond farewell at the end of term.

Polite Reminder - Dogs On Site

Please remember that dogs are not allowed on school grounds, which includes the area in front of the main black gates and/or Wild gates, even when on a lead or carried.

Please ensure all dogs are tied up in the designated Dog Park located at the front of the school, located on the blue fence on the school driveway.

Please can we also ask that any nervous dogs are kept away from the school site during school drop off/pick ups and/or are muzzled, where necessary.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

PLANNING COMMENTS

Parents are kindly asked to direct their thoughts and opinions to NFDC rather than the school.

Important Reminder - Road Closure

Please be aware that due to the ongoing construction of the Everton Road housing development, the section of Everton Road which is currently closed is now expected to be ongoing until Sunday 27th July. Please be mindful that this means that Everton Road will now be closed for the remainder of Summer term. Please click HERE for further information.

Please note, there will be a further road closure down Silver Street from next week, from Barrows Lane towards Lymington.

Furthermore, as per the recent email sent to families, Winchester County Council have advised us that parents, school staff and members of the community should not be moving any of the road signs that are currently in place advising of road closures and diversions. To do so would mean that the person moving them would be personally liable should an accident or incident occur.

Should you have any concerns or queries regarding the current road closures, please direct these to National Highways.

Thank you for helping us keep our families and local community safe.
