All of us at Team HEN are delighted to share a very exciting update! We have successfully managed to secure significant financial support from the Department for Education's School-based Nurseries Grant, administered by Hampshire County Council to grow our nursery. This considerable investment has enabled us to begin work on creating a new early years setting for Team Wild.

Team Wild will be moving from it's current location at the front of school to a new building adjacent to Team Nest, improving proximity between the two nursery teams, Nest and Wild, meaning both settings can collaborate more easily, enriching transition and strengthening partnership. What's more, the bigger space will enable us to take more children and we are now taking additional children this academic year.

Our new purpose-built environment ensures the long term sustainability of our nursery long into the future; offering a welcoming, contemporary space that possesses enhanced facilities needed for both staff and children, including purpose-designed toilet facilities for young children, as well as an adult accessible toilet.

Contractors began construction during the summer holiday and as some of you may have already seen, the new building is going up at quite some speed! Keeping everything crossed, the new Team Wild will hopefully be open from April 2027.
