Year 5: Crumble x WW2 Historical Characters

Year 5 used the Crumble computing kits to bring their WW2 historical characters to life. The children programmed algorithms to control a servo motor, making the characters’ eyes wink, slide and dance. This hands‑on computing project helped pupils understand how simple code can control real‑world devices, while also adding a fun, creative twist to their history learning.
