Football fever has well and truly arrived in Year R! 

The World Cup has captured the children's imaginations. The children have eagerly shared the latest scores and tell us all about the matches they've been watching at home.

Following the children's interests, our staff have created football-themed small world activities, giving the children opportunities to recreate matches, cheer on their favourite teams and develop their imaginative play. They have also loved making and writing their own match tickets, giving their early writing a real purpose while embracing their passion for football.
