KS1 have been getting wonderfully creative this week as part of their English learning inspired by George’s Marvellous Medicine by Roald Dahl.

The children used their imaginations to invent and create their very own marvellous medicine, carefully choosing magical ingredients and discussing the incredible effects their potions might have. From super-strength syrups to giggle-inducing elixirs, their ideas were fantastic!

This exciting hands-on activity provided the perfect hook for our instruction writing. The children are now using their experiences to write clear and detailed instructions explaining exactly how to make their marvellous medicines.

We are so proud of their creativity, enthusiasm, and fantastic writing skills. Well done, KS1!
