KS1 have been working scientifically, discovering all about how our sense of smell and taste work!

We explored some very interesting (and unusual) smells through a blind challenge and put our taste buds to the test by trying sour, sweet, bitter and salty foods.

Our favourite part was finding out how our noses act as a support system for our taste buds. We were amazed to discover what happens when you taste a tiny bit of cinnamon whilst holding your nose… and then let go!
