Year 1 have been working hard this week to develop their understanding of place value from 20 to 50. The children have been focusing on identifying how many tens and ones are in a given number and recording these using jottings. The children have also enjoyed working together to solve problems and engage in lots of rich mathematical talk. We LOVE thinking and learning!🧮
