Following a fantastic term of Design and Technology across all of KS2, year 5 finished Summer 1 using computer-aided design to create repeated patterns to be transferred on to eco friendly, sustainable tote bags.

Based on the creative ideas of our VIP Orla Kiely, children used arranging and grouping skills on Google Slides for their very own designs. They then decorated the bags with additional sew on features such as badges, buttons, pockets, closing flaps and other embellishments.

The child truly loved the unit and rated it a 10/10 in their evaluations!
