Team UJ has been using Digimap and Ordnance Survey maps in Geography lessons to support their learning about energy and sustainability. During a fieldwork study of Fawley, they investigated changes in land use over time, identifying key human and physical features that have been altered to accommodate the development of the Fawley Oil Refinery. This work helped them develop their map-reading skills, deepen their understanding of how landscapes change, and consider the impact of human activity on the environment.
