Team Wilverley: Exploring Teamship
Wilverley Class began the year by exploring teamship in nature and the real world. The children researched two incredible examples of teamwork to inspire the criteria for their new class contract: The Lionesses and The Black Mambas. To put these skills to the test, the children took part in the ultimate teamship challenge. Working in small groups, they had to draw shapes using only string, teamwork, leadership, and clear communication. No one was allowed to touch the pen directly — they had to rely on each other, give instructions, and stay calm under pressure.
By the end of the week, Wilverley Class had created a teamship‑powered class contract built on real examples, shared values, and practical experience.
