This week, our Year R children have been busy exploring repeating patterns in Maths. Using coloured cubes, counters, beads and natural objects, the children created and continued ABB and ABC patterns. They enjoyed spotting the unit of repeat, finding what comes next and describing their patterns using mathematical language. We are so proud of the children’s creativity and growing confidence with patterns.
