Year 5 finished off their 'Living Things and their Habitats' Unit with a final investigation around the importance of bees and the recent decline in numbers. Children worked scientifically to collect data on how many pollinators visited a measured area. They then compared results and concluded that our flower and long grass areas were an ideal habitat for our bees to thrive and disperse pollen.
