Last week, Upper Juniors were excited to meet Ranger Jim, a New Forest Ranger, as part of their summer geography unit on National Parks. They learnt all about how special The New Forest is and why it is protected. The children then asked Ranger Jim about the effects of tourism and how this can be managed before pledging to preserve our wonderful forest and its cultural heritage by raising awareness and sharing The New Forest Code. 🌲🌳
