School Council: A Meeting with School Governors

This week, our School Council had a very important meeting with our school governors to share everything they’ve been involved in during UK Parliament Week.
Our councillors spoke confidently about what they’ve learned, why pupil voice matters, and how Parliament works. They also shared their excitement about meeting Jack Davies, a local councillor, who talked to them about making decisions in our community and the importance of active citizenship.
The governors were incredibly impressed with the children’s ideas, questions and enthusiasm. It was a fantastic opportunity for our pupils to show their leadership skills and to understand how different parts of our local and national government work together.
We’re very proud of our School Council for representing our school so brilliantly!
