Modern history was brought to life this week as Year 5 were treated to two fantastic presentations by two budding UJ historians. They learnt all about the resilience, courage and compassion shown by World War II heroes - ranging from leading ladies to a heroic bear - before exploring primary sources including service books, artillery shells and a commemorative plaque from one child’s great grandfather. We are so lucky to have children who have such passion for history and keep sharing these important stories that have shaped our world. 🌍 🫶
